This exclusive opportunity aims to support and empower the next generation of talented students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who possess a passion for both their education and the sport of golf. Our mission is to not only provide financial assistance, but also foster a sense of camaraderie and create a platform for networking and mentorship within the HBCU alumni community. We invite all eligible applicants to seize this chance to showcase their academic achievements, leadership potential, and dedication to the game of golf.

PART II - APPLICATION ESSAY
In essay form, please explain the impact on attending an HBCU to play college golf has had on you, and why receiving a scholarship from the HBCU Golf Alumni Foundation would be impactful to your career as a student-athlete. Touch on your total student experience attending an HBCU. Briefly describe your plans after graduating and how the game of golf will play a part of your life moving forward. Lastly, please share a story of how the game of golf opened a door for you that you do not think would have opened without the game. Requirements: Your essay must be typed and double spaced. Your essay should be no more than five pages. * If you were previously awarded this scholarship, please answer the following question: In essay form, please describe how last years scholarship impacted your collegiate career. For example, were you able to buy new equipment, get additional lessons, etc?

PART III – LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Please provide a written letter of reference from one of the following: A HBCU Affiliated Professor, Coach, or Mentor A professional reference A PGA or LPGA Professional They should be able to speak to your character and deservedness of this opportunity.
